I have eaten here several times and the food is always delicious and tasty. Especially the Hibachi Chicken has all the right sazòn. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Keys needed it!

Wait at mrs max's was too long so went here by accident and so glad we did! Authentic Mexican. Chips and salsa were made there and warm....salsa was chopped and tasty! Meal of fish tacos were perfect and reasonably priced compared to other places on island. Nothing fancy but a wonderful surprise!

Wife got the 3 top plates of beef fajitas, I guess I accidentally ordered the Huevos Rancheros for 6. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. The fajita steak was awesome! I tried to get half way through my Huevos Rancheros, but had to quit. It mocked me for my failure. It called me a coño and asked my wife if she wanted to go home with a real man. Could have something to do with the 10lbs of sausage stuffed inside it. My feelings and belly hurt, I'm going home.

This spot was suggested by a local; very glad we checked it out. Everyone in my party was happy with their breakfast. I had the breakfast sandwich; had tons of bacon on it. It was very good & fresh. The place was clean and the service was good. Will def come here again.

The wife and I found this gem by mistake and we're so glad we did. Small family owned place in an abandoned nationwide fastfood chain building. The wife had the shrimp basket with baked potato and I had the seafood basket with fries. We enjoyed every bite. I'm very critical of fried food (dripping!) but this was perfect. We would definitely go back. If I had only seen the fish tacos on the menu...hmmm.

Found this place in a Keys coupon book. Delicious food! Diverse menu ranging from seafood to Mexican to Japanese Hibachi. My husband and I both ordered hibachi dishes, as recommended by our server. Pleasantly surprised at that yum yum sauce was included- an added bonus! Large portion- couldn't finish it. Service is average and food was good, but nothing to write home about. We got the scrambled eggs, skillet, and country friend steak. All of the above were good.

Built into what looks like an old fast food building, Keys Bite doesn't look like it would be a great place to eat. They actually serve great food there, and I will be back to try their breakfast next time. The food was portioned well for the price, and the menu has a great variety of options available. They also have a menu of specials, which is nice to know they are creating new items. All in all I will be happy to go there and try some of their other dishes.

Ask for specials off the regular menu; we had hog fish tacos and hogfish francaise, both very good!

My family and I enjoyed our meals so much we decided to have dinner there three nights in a row while on vacation! Food is fantastic, try the shrimp tacos!

Great place! I had the veggie fajitas, they were good but they needed a little more seasoning. The retried beens and rice were just ok. Scallops were good and the steak fajitas were really good. We sat outside and that was nice. I would definitely try it out!

Happen to be staying across the street for 3 months and have been twice for breakfast since arriving in town. Food is amazing. Menu looks very good and can't wait to try the Mexican food. Since moving from so cal to Florida I have yet to find decent Mexican food the last 7 years. Maybe this is the spot. Will keep you posted . Across the street for the next 3 months. .

No-nonsense food. We had a party of nine. The portion sizes are quite generous. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The dining room is clean. Overall, a great place for a big breakfast with the family.

My husband and I were running out of options for dinner, so we decided to give Keybites a try. I'm happy to report we were pleasantly surprised...considering it was once a fast food restaurant. We were skeptical. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken hibachi. It was very good. As we were waiting for our food I was noticing the other dishes being served. Portions were very large and Mexican cuisine seemed to be the popular choice. The wait and kitchen staff appeared to be family and many of them took a break from the kitchen to join other family members. We knew we made the right choice in selecting the hibachi since most of the cook staff had prepared that for their dinner. We'd definitely go back.

Hit or miss! But for the most part a hit... decent food at a decent price, it is the keys after all. Their conch chowder is one of the best I've ever had tons of conch and not overly spicy. Good sandwiches, BLT club ham and cheese are all good...fish isnt bad either. Service is good and food comes out quickly...I am having the special spaghetti and meatballs.....I'm not loving the meat balls!

We went here for breakfast, and it was decent, but by no means amazing. I had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and it was okay, but not delicious. Relatively inexpensive. Maybe the lunch and dinner options are better, but I was not impressed by their breakfast.

Food was good. I had a tuna wrap and my friend had tacos. We were satisfied. The ambiance was comparable to a diner setting.

This review is just to bring attention to the fact that service was NOT on point this past Saturday. Went here for a late breakfast, place was busy but not acceptable for us to wait 15 minutes and still not have menus or a server. Went to the hostess and she looked extremely bored/didn't care at all we were waiting. I'm sure from the reviews I've read the food is incredible, but service, come on people!

This place rocks! Family owned place. Do not miss this little gem in the keys. This is amazing and the type of place that the keys needed. The staff is super nice and friendly. I will be back for lunch.

Decent little lunch stop, with reasonable prices in Key Largo. The menu is crazy large and I mean like, it takes half an hour to pick something. It's in an old fast food restaurant building. Decor isn't much to speak of, but seems to be a hit with the locals.

Ahh Keys Bite! Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Was spending the day in Key Largo and this was probably the only non-seafood option for a couple miles stretch. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service we encountered here. The waitress made sure we were very well taken care of and made excellent accomodations for our vegetarian companions. A batch of sizzling chicken fajitas and chilly enchiladas made it to our table, along with a Mediterranean salad straight from the Aegean Sea. The fajitas were accompanied by an excellent ensemble of vegetables (onions, green peoppers, lettuce, rice & black beans). Need we not forget to mention the excellent decor here. Upon entrance, you will feel like you walked into a Mexican dreamland with beautiful colored beachside paintings on the wall. Hats off for having some terrificly festive Christmas decorations as well. In short: loved the service, loved the food, and loved the ambiance. We'll be back here in no time!

Very good breakfast burrito. One of the best I have had. My wife had juevo sancheros and loved it. Service was great, food came fast hot and perfectly cooked. I can see why this place gets the great reviews.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
